About the Treatment
Anti-wrinkle injections use a highly purified protein to temporarily relax the facial muscles responsible for expression lines. Treatment Information
Anti-wrinkle injections typically last 3–4 months. With regular treatments, many clients find their results last progressively longer as muscles become conditioned. Most Edinburgh clients book every 3–4 months to maintain their results year-round.
Remain upright for 4 hours post-treatment. Avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area for 24 hours, and skip strenuous exercise and alcohol on the day of treatment. Avoid lying face-down (e.g. facials, massages) for 48 hours. Minor redness or pin-point marks at injection sites will resolve within hours.
Anti-wrinkle injections are suitable for most healthy adults. Treatment is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a neuromuscular condition, or are taking certain medications. All suitability is reviewed at the time of booking and at your appointment.
