The Profhilo Protocol

The standard Profhilo protocol consists of two treatment sessions spaced four weeks apart. This schedule allows the skin to fully respond and remodel between sessions, delivering optimal results.

  1. Skin Assessment & Consultation

    We assess your skin quality, concerns and suitability for Profhilo, and create a personalised treatment plan.

  2. First Treatment Session

    Profhilo is injected using the BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) technique — 5 precise injection points per side of the face for even distribution.

  3. Four-Week Interval

    Over the following four weeks, the hyaluronic acid stimulates collagen and elastin production throughout the skin tissue.

  4. Second Treatment & Review

    A second session at week four completes the course. Results continue to improve for up to 4 weeks after the final treatment.

Profhilo FAQs

Profhilo is a bio-remodelling treatment, not a filler. It does not add volume or shape the face. Instead, it disperses evenly throughout the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin from within, improving overall skin quality rather than targeting specific features. Standard skin boosters also hydrate but do not achieve the same level of tissue remodelling.
The standard protocol is two sessions, four weeks apart. Most clients see significant improvement after the first session, with optimal results visible 4–6 weeks after the second treatment. Maintenance sessions every 6–12 months are recommended to sustain results.
The treatment involves a small number of precise injections using very fine needles. Most clients find it comfortable, with only minimal discomfort. A topical numbing cream can be applied beforehand if preferred.
Profhilo is suitable for most adults concerned with skin laxity, dehydration, loss of elasticity, or dull skin tone.
